15mm Dwarves with Polearms
« on: November 07, 2013, 10:52:01 AM »

Another full unit painted and based to go in my 'Vault' for trade, as I slowly but steadily progress to the heaps of material once bought never played to fund my Saint collection.

These models are produced by 15mm.co.uk and are of the more classic style of Dwarves like we see in The Hobbit or Dungeons of Dragons, meaning they are short and stocky humans with normal beards, instead of those jolly chubby hairball garden gnomes as seen for example in the Warhammer universe.

The models themselves are a good sculpt, and actually quit a joy to paint, as they are heavily armoured without going over the top and be armoured cans, definitly not the shabbiest of figures out there, but mind you they stand a good head taller then some other ranges like the Splintered Light ones, leaning more towards the 18mm mark then pure 15mm.

They look really great and I was just about to put an order in on them... and then I read they were more like 18mm than 15mm :(

Do you happen to have any of the Demonworld 15mm miniatures to compare these with?

Maybe they are Giant Dwarfs - you know - like Jumbo Shrimp...

Gracias,

Nope sorry, got not a single demonworld model anymore since the past 15 years (did have them back in the day when they where still from a french company, but those are long gone)

Aye, but hence I don't know how they compare, I don't have any plans on going to game 15mm fantasy anymore, so I'm just painting up my 'stock' lying around and put them on my blog for trades
