The following minis will be the least inspired of all the bunch, I'm afraid :(. The zombie Muse was not around when I begun to work on them :-I.

The Abomination needed no conversion, as it's a single model. Here you can see what I told you the other day about paint flaking.

Well, this is it, the poor accidental tourist with his camera and the palm trees shirt ;D.

Runners have been difficult for me; as I'm saying, I can't find inspiration for something 'different enough'. I just added some hair or different colours, but I can't say I'm satisfied with them. As with the Fatties, the first mini is the original unmodified and all the rest have additional work:

The second round:

I thought of having one or two female runners, but I had to do extensive work on hips, breasts, shoulders, face... It wasn't worth of, so I left them all being male runners.

Your c/c will be most welcome both here or at the blog:

http://oldschoolworkshop.blogspot.com.es/2013/11/zombicide-pt3-abomination-runners.html

I promise something slightly better for the next round ;)

The new batch of zombies has female runners. I dont know if you have to buy Prison Outbreak or if they are also in one of the Walk of the dead "booster" zombie packs.

Edit: as I completely forgot. It looks very good! My experience is that once you start putting zombies on the table you do not notice that the poses are the same. As long as the clothes is painted in different colours.

Hehe, I'm nevertheless having huge fun converting these, now I cannot stop! ;D

I'm bringing you all the male walkers today. Some of them more inspired than others, I'm afraid. Let's begin with the worse and let's see if we can improve:

Ordinary zombie:

Changing some hair and so, you get these:

As I liked the Fattie cop, I just did another:

And a touch of black humour ::)

The second and third rounds look a little bit better, or at least so I hope. The original mini:

And here it begins the multicultural non-discrimination show (Everyone gets his right to become a zombie, no matter who you are):

And another round. The original untouched mini:

And my mumblings and nonsenses. This one was pretty obvious, it was a matter of time I did this:

Some more Z's:

Some more cliches (as I told you at the beginning, the game is full of them, I thought it was the proper thing to do):

And another stupidly fun nonsense. Just sing with me: I want to break freeeeee :D

As always, you are more than welcome in the blog, here you have both entries:

http://oldschoolworkshop.blogspot.com.es/2013/11/zombicide-pt-4-first-round-of-walkers.html
http://oldschoolworkshop.blogspot.com.es/2013/11/zombicide-pt-5-more-walkers.html

I'm currently working on the female walkers, hope to post them anytime soon :).

Fantastic work. I have only painted 1 of my 120 or so Zombicide zombies. Must get cracking. This is great inspiration.

Thank you very much! :)

Here you have the first round of female walkers. Having so many skirts is an issue if you want to make different minis, but I did what I could. Well, you know the drill, here you have the original model:

And a scale comparison pic with a... smaller version ::)

New ideas:

And a totally unoriginal idea, but it works for me ;)

http://oldschoolworkshop.blogspot.com.es/2013/11/zombicide-pt6-some-female-walkers.html

Only 8 female zombies more and I can count this game as finished! :)

Here they are, as promised :). Project finished! The first one looks like this:

With little slight additions and modifications I got these:

Increasing the amount of green stuff I went on these two:

As I had a Godfather Fattie, he was in need of the bride :D:

And I told you that, as I had a football player, I needed a cheerleader:

I tried something different for the last mini. Yup, I got a zombie astronaut :D:

So that's the game, I just have to play it with all the converted minis and see if it has been worth of ::)

Amazing skill and dedication! These don't look like conversions, people not in the know could easily think you somehow got your hands on some exclusive alternate sculpts.

Just a small update. Last weekend I got a surprise Christmas gift. Let me introduce you La Rana Bucanera (that is Spanish for 'Buccaneer frog' ;D), a most interesting blog run by Eliezer Mayor, an incredibly talented artist from the Canary Islands. He sculpted and painted this mini and sent it to me!

You can see the whole process here:

Part I
Part II
Part III

I cannot recommend it enough; seriously, he is such a talented artist -not that I'm telling it as he has bribed me with a mini lol. His work speaks out for itself, just go check. You will not be dissapointed.

Of course I had to try the mini on a game! So this very weekend we had a Zombicide session:

Seriously, go check his blog, spend a few minutes over his works. Though it is in Spanish, you can contact the author in English :).

Can't believe it's been that long since I posted here for the last time! Shame on me!
But I've not been idle all this time, I simply got forum lazy :'(. Let's put an end to that!

I painted the dogz; nice ones, you don't get to see this kind of minis often.

I wasn't looking for any kind of complicated work, so I kept this quick and easy. I believe they work good enough. At least for me! ;D

But these are not the only Zs I've been busy with. I've been expanding my range of zombies with not-Zombicide minis.

I purchased this from Hasslefree:

(I specially love this one :D)

http://oldschoolworkshop.blogspot.com.es/2014/07/they-are-not-dead-they-are-infected.html

And I believe you have already seen Clearco's works before in this very forum. I managed to paint his ladies. Here you have size comparison shots in case you wonder about the scale. Hasslefree and Empress:

They look like this:

Not convinced with my brushwork here, I should totally repaint them, but that will be in the future. I still have tons of work to do!
