Its a mixture of metal and converted plastic miniatures, mostly Warlord Games Celts. Its wonderful what some moustaches does to a miniatures.

I wanted to have a heavy infantry to my Ayyubid force and in Hail Caesar army list I get the option to field Mamluk heavy archers.

The banner is a paper banner that "Eric the Shed" put together,
http://shedwars.blogspot.se/2015/03/saracen-pennants-flags-and-banners.html that I printed on regular paper and then painted some gold colour on top to make it pop a little.

Big thanks for that Eric.

Lovely kitbashing there mate! :)

And I'm not sure if I mentioned it earlier, but I love your bases. They feel natural as hell! :)

Big thanks guys.

I thought I needed some archers for my collection, so here we have a unit of medium levy archers.
I indended to paint these a little duller in colours and skip some of the detailing on the fabrics and so on. The plan is to let this unit make the other "propper" units pop alitle more on the table when they are arenged side by side.
