Space Pulp (AAR p.2)
« on: 08 November 2013, 07:11:20 AM »
Greetings folks,

I have a PA game planned for tomorrow at my club so I got to painting up a few figures. I've wanted to use my Space Heroes figures for a while so I got a few Valkiree (from Hydra Miniatures) ready to fill out a league. So here they are Captain Quasar & the Astro Girls. I have a feeling they'll be fighting a league of evil Space NAZI's tomorrow.

As you can see Capt Dirk Quasar isn't the smartest guy in the galaxy but he is good at punching people. So that leaves Trixie Nova to provide the smarts even though she looks like a bit of a dingbat (she's fast too).

Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Excellent painting, looking forward to seeing some photos of them in action. Good luck against the evil space nazis!

This afternoon I decided that my new league needed a spaceship (either to explore or to zoom around the galaxy). So I whipped up this little beauty.
It's made from a $2 ant farm that I found in a local thrift shop. All I had to do was add some engines and a few little details.
The tractor beam on the bottom is made from a disposable plastic champagne flute.
