Nice set up! The train really does add something!

+1 what Steve said. Blimey Paul, that's one beck of a setup. It's like your using instant ingredients, ... 'Build everything from stratch, pain stakingly weather and detail everything. But, Here's a town I prepared earlier.'

I know you have a head start with it all, but it's beautiful what you have done. I like how the train line curves around town. The loco looks spot on, you will need a lot less scratchbuilding than me. :)

Your civilians are looking very splendid and dapour, and I must say Catastrophe Kate is my favourite character so far. I wish her well, and good aiming in the games to come. Her PJ finery matches her fine attitude to dispatching Mexicans! Lol

I'm keen to join Steve and yourself in building trains next year. ;) I'm planning 2 locos, 2 passenger cars, 1 combined passenger mail car, and a box car.

Cheers
Matt

Looks good mate  :-*

The only thing I would say is that the board looks a little linear with the paint work, from a distance it could almost be taken for a pine table top.

Maybe some circular, random drybrushing to help break it up a bit.

Great set up none the less  :)

cheers

Excellent Boss Mason, looks just the sort of place where they don't like fookin' free grazers around

 lol
Cheers, mate.
You will have to pop round some time for a game or two.

It certainly makes life easier when someone sells you a whole load of buildings which are plenty good enough to use without doing anything else with them.
As I said before: All the hard work was done by Bobble and philhendry.

The tracks do make a nice feature but need to be painted soon as they do look a little too dark and dominent on the table.

Talking of trains: Maybe we should ALL try and co-ordinate our efforts and shout encouragement.

Thanks, mate.
I hope Kate continues in the same vein in which she has started.
She does suffer from Madness now, but I refuse to send her to see the Doc.
I think she is more characterful they way that she is.
 :D

I know what you mean about the board from that picture.
I have done most of the features to run the the same way, but they actually do not look too rigid in person.
Hopefully these pictures will illustrate that point better:

To be fair, you do have a good point.
Maybe a few more random patches of grass are in order... :D

There are more but as Photobucket is still being a git I will have to pop them up later.
(Is it me or is PB playing up for anyone else today.....?)

I've found Photobucket to be far worse with the "new" version than the old...not to mention the obnoxious video advertisements.  Time to start looking elsewhere I think.  Shame, been using them for 10 years.

Have to agree: The 'new' version is crap.
My library is almost full, so may well be heading elsewhere soon anyways....

I shall try again with the uploading....

It seems to be working just fine now.... o_o

At least it is done.
The last of the photos.
There were only a couple left, but I thought it was worth posting them.

Hope you like 'em....

Thanks, fella's!
Much appreciated.
 :D

I have a couple of days off this week, so I may be ambitious and have a go at the row of buildings in this shot:

I already have an idea of what all three of these shops shall be.
They may provide a little entertainment for others too...... :D

Thank, Al!

Oh, and I forgot to add that, as I mentioned earlier about the three new businesses opening up in town, it is a strange coincidence that two out of the last three posters before this shall be joining Eric the Shed as proprietors in town.
