There will be a little break in the progress on this for a while, as I sort out some real life issues.

I hope everything goes well, best wishes to you and your family.

Thanks, chaps.
I should be back with this project in a few weeks.
 :)

As I said earlier, I shall try to find a small amount of time to push some putty around on my Strange Aeons thread.

Thanks, Skander.
Good to see you back visiting this neck of the woods.

There will be a little break in the progress on this for a while, as I sort out some real life issues.
Any hobby time I have shall be confined to pushing putty around for a while.
I do have quite a long time to get all this done, so no problem.
 ;)

(Before the countdown starts: Shut up, Mama! :D).

Take care mate, and I hope that the whole issues solves itself in one way or another :)

Well, things are now sorted (I think...) and I should be able to get back to this next week.
We should be playing a test-game tonight, utilising the system that we will be using at BLAM.
Fingers crossed it works.

It wont be a full run out of everything, as it is not all built/painted yet.
More like a diet version.
The 'random events' will not be used tonight either, as I just want to ensure that the game runs quickly and smoothly.

More pictures of that over the coming days.

For now, I will respond to this endearing comment:

Malingering faggot  ;D

With this:

 :D

As you can see, I have not been 'malingering' too much.
I have gotten a little work done for this project.

For those of you unaware that I was doing these little additions, the thread for them is here:

Which I shall be posting an update to later.

Thanks, James.

We should be playing a test-game tonight, utilising the system that we will be using at BLAM.

And we did!
 :D

Tom the B*stard, Painter 112, smokezombie and 'He Who Shall Remain Nameless' came to the Creek last night to test out the cunning quick play rules.

I wont give much away about the rules, as it would be better to save them as a  surprise to the players at BLAM, but they did cause a few chuckles on the night and I hope that continues when each group of new players encounter them.
 ;)

Here is a picture of the set-up used...

This is probably what will be used as a finished set-up for the proper games, with the exception of the Railroad track running through the centre of the town, as a moving train suddenly appearing in front of you could really annoy the players and disrupt their plans (which is all part of the fun, is it not?  :D).

A few minor tweaks were made to the rules as we progressed (no Ian, we will not allow a Citizen to block another fellow's front door, will we?  >:D).

The game begins with all of the buildings in town having their proprietor standing outside of their respective business...

Not all of the Citizens have been painted yet, so there are a few 'stand-in's' hanging around.

(Yes, that is a lady 'standing in' for Bibbles, as I have not painted 'his' figure yet.... :D)

There is quite a bit still to do, though.

That is one lovely looking set up!!!

Thank you, sir!
You even said that before the Crazy Viking comes to town.
He is on 'the list'.
 :D

There are still three more buildings to do (the Railroad Station, the Barbers and the Hotel), proxies or unfinished buildings were used for these last night.

Add to that the Train and track (which looks damn awful in unpainted black plastic....), two more wagons and something else that will appear on the track.
 ;)

AND the rest of the Citizens of the Creek that will provide Random Events to add to the chaos.

Plenty to keep me busy.

There are a couple more pictures that I will post later showing a few more Citizens outside of their establishments.....
