Schitte Creek is certainly very rough of late considering how I've neglected it for so long  :(
Fantastic additions to your fine town Mason, this thread is a joy and inspiration.

Cheers, Gut!
You were one of the chaps responsible for me going in this direction in the first place, so the inspiration goes both ways, it seems.
 :D

Well, it wont be the first time that Tom has shot someone before breakfast.

Mmmmm pork scratching's.
I like your pig sty idea, I think I will add one to my Chinese laundry base a la Deadwood.
Should be very easy to build.

Dont mention the Laundry!
 :o

That is one of the things on the to-do list, but it wont get done until the building of the Creek reaches Stage Two after BLAM.
 ::)

Incidentally, the Creek is going to be the setting for a different kind of Old West game this weekend.
Piccies and details to follow after the event... ;)

Will the stage 2 see another new building for the UC in a form of loonie house, if strange things start happening in the UC more often?

I do plan on making an Asylum at some time in the future but I do not think that will be in the Creek.
I think that will be more of a traditional English building.
Whenever I get around to it, that is..... ::)

Dont worry, Gary, it will still get done.
 :)

In fact, there is a small chance that I may be able to squeeze another building in before BLAM.
I still have the Rail Road Station and a few of the characters to finish as a minimum before October.
Should I finish them all before, I shall try tosqueeze another building or two in.
 ;)

Another small task crossed off of the list....signs for the Bank and the Bastard's Inn were finished today.

The Upsheet Creek branch of Lord's Bank....

....with Lord Over himself checking on the new sign.

And the Bastard's Inn has its new advertisement....

(Of which, I shall take a better picture soon.....)

I think they look ok and blend in nicely with the others about town.
 ;)

To my shame, I had completely missed this thread. All I can say is bloody marvellous and up to the usual high standard we expect from Mr Mason.

Thank you, sir.
 :)

You are coming to BLAM now after all, aren't you?
Gonna have to add Bullshott to the 'List'..... ::)

Back to some piccies....

Painter 112 wanted to join us for some Old West shenanigans so here are his US Cavalry and Texas Rangers that he painted recently.

Not the best picture that I have taken, but this was shot in-game where they were used for the first time in a Weird West scenario utilising the Strange Aeons rules in an Old West setting.

More pictures from this game, where the Cavalry thought they had the notorious Clump Gang trapped in an old, deserted mining town, will be posted on the Strange Aeons board shortly.
 ;)

EDIT: More pictures of these boys involved in some Weird West action are now posted here:

Bobble comes to Town......Upsheet Creek for BLAM 2014 UD:10/09
« Reply #1362 on: 10 September 2014, 01:29:18 PM »
I finally managed to arrange a time with Bobble for him to pop over and get a game or two (or three!) in on this table.

If you remember the original post, it shows the buildings that I purchased from Bobble last year.

These were the basis on which this town was built so it only seemed right to have the man himself around for a game.

Well, this week we finally found a mutually suitable time and met up for a few games.
It was a little different to our last meeting where we met up in a supermarket car park for the 'exchange'...... ;)

Here are a few pictures from the games...

The last game we played a version of the Weird West game where the inhabitants of the town were all living dead and wanted to take out their angst on the warring gangs.

The Dead seemed to find one particular individual, Luck Luke, particularly interesting...

As you can probably tell from this picture, Luke was soon to join their ranks...

It was good to finally meet up and get a few games under our belt.
Thank for popping over, mate.
See you again soon.
 :)
