Great set-up Paul!

would You give it a try askew next time? I think it can only profit

Thank you, sir!
I do, quite often, set things up 'askew' as it gives a very pleasing aspect.
This time (and any other time that I use the tracks until I make more) I could not as the track only looks right going straight across the table.
To fit in with this the buildings had to be set up in a straight, grid-like pattern.
Next time.....
 ;)

why?
but OK, I understand, You write that the track indicates the part of the town south of it, etc
but the straight grid would work askew too

maybe You need two more special figures lurking outside the local hardware store and smoking indian weed, one of them all too silent ;)

Cheers, Mike.
I am trying to convince the chaps to have a go at a Strange Aeons campaign set in the Old West in future.
That may have to wait for a while though, as they are keen to continue with our last campaign set in Good Ol' Blighty.
 ;)

You need to pop over again soon for another few games.
PM heading your way later regarding the 'other' matter.
 ;)

The grid would work fine askew, but the track is only four foot long, so unless it runs across a corner it cannot reach side to side at anything other than the most direct route.
Our game next week will involve more of an 'out of town' look, so I may try angling the track and see what happens.

Glad to see the Creek still has legs (if that is not tautology).  Great photos.  The picture of the desperado surrounded by a whole bunch of Cavalry reminded me of the last scene in Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid.

There's a strange bunch of newcomers just arrived in town, very striking in their livery of green and yellow. They will do anything for you from washing your shirts to dealing with any of your medical problems using strange oriental magic. There is the head man and his concubine, the medicine man and the foreman and a couple of minions.
Some Chinese I've painted for Mason and more potential Creek residents.

I like the folded laundry Jeff, that's a cracking figure 8)

Any custom work or are the figures "out the box"?

Cheers
Matt.

Absolutely chuffed with them, mate.
The first of the Chinatown elements of the Creek.
There shall be a few more to come.
Cheers, mate.
Love 'em!

No conversion at all, Bertie.
The folded laundry, not-Mr Wu and the fella with yolk and buckets are all from Brigade Games.
