Great stuff Marty, your sculpts bring them to life. :)

Superb Wagon homeboy  8)

Thanks, chaps.
Much appreciated.

You could add one bag 'falling' off the back ;) .....

I like that idea!
 :D

You've certainly had good use out of that bowler-hatted bonce  :)

Well spotted.
That is the only one out the lot that had a recycled bonce as well.

Finished wagon is indeed a nice vignette on its own  8)

The genttleman is encouraging the horses and his lady seems to be fearing for her life :)

Cheers, mate.
I am glad that it gives the right impression.
It was the look on the Lady's face that prompted that one.

I have finished basing some more inhabitants of the Creek.
Piccies later when the glue dries.....

And it dried......

Here they are, some new inhabitants.

Most of them were picked up recently from thebinmann and one, the Professor, from orm1.
They have mostly just been rebased to fit in with what I already have.

Some close ups....

They shall be given appropriate names and locations soon...

Lovely little set of characters, my favourite is the chap in the pillbox hat.

Thanks, chaps.
They all have a certain character and will be in the next round of 'names' to be added.
 ;)

Just a ball park figure but what is the population of the town now?

Hmmmm.....

Let me add them up.

There are about forty 'Citizens', twenty Celestials or Tong members, thirteen Cavalry including their Apache scout, approximately ten members of each 'Gang' in the area, so with Outlaws, Apache, Town Posse and Mexicans makes that about another forty and half a dozen members of the upcoming Carnevale...

That makes about a hundred and twenty so far.

There are quite a few additions in the pipeline with another gang consisting of Cowboys with Jeff, a few more Carnevale members and a Pinkerton posse on my to-do list.

I will of course be adding more Citizens as I acquire them too.

The list is not nearing the end at all, it seems.... ::)

They will be soon, have no doubts.
In fact, I should be getting a game in of something this week and the Creek is favourite if I can get the boards sorted before then.

Superb Thread

Thank you, lobo.
Much appreciated.
 :D

I shall see if I can sort out the boards this week, and take a few pictures of the wagon train whilst I am at it.

Ok, so I've painted some more figures for Upsheet Creek. Firstly there's a couple of Mexicans to go with the gang I did earlier, old one eyed Pedro a mean looking gunslinger and a female member of the gang who remains without a name till Paul decides on one lol. Anyway she has long raven black hair and carries a big shotgun so she looks like she means business. They both wear the obligatory red shirt that marks them out as members of El Diablo Rojas.

Next up is a gang of "Good Guys" or the Marshall and his posse. Paul wanted these with Ivory coloured coats but I've also painted them in light coloured hats and clothing to mark them out as good guys in typical Hollywood fashion. Ive included a rear shot to show the different shades on the coats and also a wargamers shot from above, I hope they do the job.
