It needs a bell and some pews for ecclesial gatherings / shootout barricades :)

The church looks superb. :-* :-* Your 'light pimping' is masterful. I don't know how you do it.

Cheers
Matt.

I like what you have done with the Spanish style church, the drybrushing has certainly worked.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, chaps.
 :D

That is yet to be decided.... ::)
If anyone has any APPROPRIATE ideas, I am willing to listen to them.
 :D

 lol
Not quite sure how to take that, Riccardo.
 ;)

Interior?
No.
I dont intend any of the buildings in the Creek to have interiors.

It was indeed.
A fine, well made, little piece.

The basic paintjob completed...

Progress will continue in a few days....

Just awesome!  :-*

It MAY gain a bell but there will not be pews as there will be no interior.
There will be various bits of crap laying around to provide cover.
And maybe some walls too...... :D

Tony has it right, mostly just patient drybrushing.
Plenty of layers.

A few washes on the roof tiles as well, of course.

You mean pews pews?

Please don't encourage them..... ;)

Just awesome!  :-*

And getting you approval puts the icing on it.
Thank you, sir, it is a great build that has been a pleasure to mess around with.

Wagon Train... The Town of Upsheet Creek UD:13/02
« Reply #2046 on: 13 February 2015, 03:45:34 PM »
No progress on the Church today as I have had to utilise my spare time working on some photos.

I did use the opportunity to take a few shots of the Wagon Train that was mentioned some time ago.

Here is a taster of the whole train.....

....the rest shall follow later when they have been cropped.

Yep, you are right with that one.

I guess that Apaches will have to do until someone sorts out some Commanche,though.... :D

Anyway, here are a few more.....

Looks like someone has spotted the Creek....

I don't see any Commanche in the area yet ( ::)), so the Apache may get first helpings.
 :D

The rest of the piccies.....

It appears that there may be some dispute as to which way the Creek actually is....

Of course, if they had been paying more attention, they may have noticed that there was a young dishevelled looking trapper tagging along behind the wagon train....

....if they had bothered to ask young Elk they could have gotten the right directions and maybe saved themselves some time.

After all, Elk and his dog '101' had lived in the area for some time.....

....of course, nobody stops to ask for directions these days, do they?
