Oooh, that house under construction looks good. Reminds me of Deadwood.

I could do with one of those 1:1 cat houses. we've been 'adopted' by a local cat too. It's a refugee for exactly the same reason as yours  lol
Don't!

Not surprised, the cat's grumpy that its house is not finished to the same standard of details and painting than your other buildings. The window is a nice touch, though!

It's weird with cats, they choose who they will hang out with for the most part. It's that non-pack instict I think, unlike dogs.

It just goes to prove that we are obviously very nice blokes.
 :D

I just know someone will have something to say about that....

I do still have a little bit of 'pimping' to do to it.
 ;)

He even seems to like you lot when you come round!

As Rui requested, here is an update.....

Work has continued on the new building but I forgot to take any pictures of that earlier....D'oh!

Here are some I did take, though.
 ;)

First up my own pack of 'Texas Rangers'.....

and my 'Pinkertons'......

All painted by Jeff965 and basing finished by myself earlier.

Together they will form the Pinkerton Agency faction for the Creek....

Thanks, verd!

Just room for one more faction and a few more Citizens and that will be it for the figures.

Then it is just a simple matter of the last four buildings..... ::)
One of which I hope to finish tomorrow.

Hanging Trees??...The Town of Upsheet Creek UD:16/04
« Reply #2229 on: 16 April 2015, 02:25:06 PM »
Being the eternal butterfly that I am I have been distracted by something else before finishing the building.... ::)

A GW Wood that I have had my eyes on for a while for use in Strange Aeons, but I think will work just fine here too....

I have based it to match the scenry boards used for the Creek, and as the trees are removable I can make some smaller bases to use the trees themselves in my British Strange Aeons setting.

To prove that it should be fine for the Old West here is Brian's Mum having a gander at them.

She could just be poking her beak into what Maria is up to instead, of course.....

The trees are nice and the colors you choose mix well with your scenario.
Well done.

I think they will work well in a 'badlands' setting I fancy using for our next game.

Building Under Construction (WIP) The Town of Upsheet Creek UD:19/04

I have pretty much finished the building part of the 'Under Construction' kit.

Here is a quick piccie of the upper floor interior before the roof went on....

More pics of the whole thing later when the glue dries on the roof section.

Building Under Construction (Roof Added) The Town of Upsheet Creek UD:19/04
« Reply #2234 on: 19 April 2015, 01:30:08 PM »
Very nice.

Thank you, sir.
 :D

Here it is with the construction complete....

It is the basic kit with some extra coffee stirrer planking added and a few little bits and pieces from the bits box.
The roof was a little tricky to stick together without gluing your fingers together in the process, but it does look very good, I reckon.
It also goes some way to hiding some of the things that are littered around the interior, but at least I know they are there....

Now I can get on with the fun part of detailing it and working on the 'yard' that will catch the dice when they roll out of the tower.....
