Thanks, chaps.

I have dug out all the components for the 'yard' and they will get a slap of paint tomorrow.
The signs have been printed off too, so that should not take too long either.

Oh that's nice mate, the ladder and rugs for lazy construction workers are a nice addition.

Do my eyes spot small painted knots on those coffee stirrers??  o_o :-* :-* :-*

You do indeed.
They are just tiny dots scattered about to break up the, otherwise, flat looking wooden planks.

When I have added the staff to the 'yard' it should really help to convey that idea.....I hope!

Thanks, Ivor!
It may seem a bit much, the stuff on the inside, as it wont be too visible during play.
I will know that it is there, though, so I am happy that it is done.

I hope to get a chance to finish this build off today.
Fingers crossed!

You should, mate.
They add so much to a scene.

The basework is done and yard bits added....

Just the signs and final detailing to do now.....

Like Jimbibbly advised and now seing the effect i have to place some wood planks pilled on my roman fort.
They look simple but very effective.
