Very nice, like the travelworn look of the rangers and elves clothings, nicely faded and dusty.

[exhales deeply] Wow, this is good shit. Thanks for my fix of cool LotR pics.  :D

As usual your pics have this wondeful mysterious atmosphere that just draws me in and keeps me glued in front of the screen.

But half-naked elven barbarians? It's an interesting model, yet not one I would expect to see in Middle-Earth. But then again maybe there is more to it. Some kind of background story? The elves were ambushed while resting and this fellow just grabbed his weapon and joined the action? I guess I can live with that.  :)

Yeah, brilliant Guy. Particularly like the Rangers. Gritty and careworn, but indomitable...
Lovely  :)

Bloody brilliant, mate.
Love 'em all!
 :-* :-* :-*

It seems that we will be using the same Dunedain, as I actually think those figures work well for 'sophisticated' Dark Ages Middle Earth.

Gotta say, mate, that you keep posting pics of those Orcs is making me desperate to paint some myself.
You are doing a wonderful job on them.

All of those Ors are Asgard, I think, Skander.
And bloody wonderful they are too, I reckon.

Blooming wonderful! The orcs look so wretchid and malformed. (Especially the squatter) just perfect Blackwolf. I hope to see them in person sometime.

Cheers

Thanks chaps :)

Did anyone notice the bit of basing material on the Ranger? >:(

Lars; yeah,I'm a little ambivalent about him too. He's my reaction to the P. Jackson Elves,a wild Silvan Elf if you like.

Matt,we shall have to meet up indeed; perhaps with Christian,Painting Princess et al,a mini LAF meeting?

Paul; those Orcs are cracking, and I must say, compared to the G.W. figures, next to no cleanup.
I look forward to yours ;)

Perhaps not his combat getup, but I am sure Legolas in the gym on a Tuesday night would look something like that.

Even as someone with no interest in The Lord of the Rings, I look forward to your posts. Once more, your BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS of some WONDERFULLY painted & based pieces in LOVELY settings are a visual treat. VERY WELL DONE!

Right you are. I once saw a drawing of a noble elf during fencing lessons. That's what it reminds me of, now that you pointed it out.

Did you see him whilst going to Pilates with 'Good' Bibbles?
