Does Anyone Know Any Good Heads?

Hi All

Please can I call upon your gathered wisdom.

My son is looking to create some "Drop Troops" using Tau bodies but is struggling to find a good head. He's looking for helmeted heads with a visor but nothing covering the nose and mouth (no gas masks). He's looked at Pig Iron but isn't happy with them. He quite likes Forgeworld's Elysian troops but they are not sold separately except with respirators.

Does anyone else have any good ideas?

I can't find anyone that just sells heads, but I did come accross these plastic figs from em4:

They are really cheap, and look of reasonable quality. If you whip the heads off of these, you could stick the Tau heads on their bodies and hey presto! instant adversaries!

 Check out this site. They have a bunch of seperate head packs, which should fit nicely. Most importantly, they are beautiful models. Hope this helps.

Good call! The trooper heads are really nice (the ganger heads aren't ) and if you wouldn't mind spending 50p a head they would be great. The price would be the main problem though (if you only bought them for the heads) but of course the bodies are nice too

I also checked the westwind site but I couldn't really find any suitable SF heads.

It sounds as though he might go for EM-4.
On my continued trawling of the www, I also came across the heads done by Alpha Forge:

which also seem good and at a reasonable price by the ten you get are random so he' not happy with that. The youth of today - there's just no pleasing them!

West Wind Productions has the Separate Head System. Although it's WW2, maybe they're of some use to you.

Also, MicroArt Studio just started a conversion range, which has some heads, they're all Fantasy though.
