You could do "2.5D" The pegasus platformer stuff for instance is pretty detailed and if you only use one side you can cover double the terrain with it. Its more then plain printed stuff, but faster and cheaper then full 3D.

Have you ever looked at 'plastic canvas' needle craft pieces? Forgive me, they may go by another name in the antipodes.

Mesh grid you can use for 'tiles', cut large pieces and fill some rows of holes with putty for edge of tiles.

I'll be coming back when the cheaper AvP board game is released the current resin set is
a) out of my budget. [its in pounds OUCH!!!]
b) wasted on my limited painting skills
c) going to be used by a 5 and 7 year old. the 5 Year old is nick named Mr Wreck It!!!!

so my reasons for not getting any minis Would love a copy of the rules though so I can get my head around how it all works.

I found these by mistake and wonder are the Huntarrz like Preds or not? as there are not pics on the website? any one got pics of the Huntarrz I'd like a comparison.

I would love to see if the Space Demon Shockforce [eg Not-Predaliens] heads could be used on the Space Demon bodies [eg the ones with out guns] but since Khurasan Miniatures don't do bits I won't know. [Has anyone take the heads and done this? would it work? only issue I would have is the left over Alien bodies with guns and the Alien heads left over. Was there ever an Alien with a bioweapon? not a Predalien...]

Postage will be high I can guarantee that but Its on my cards just need to sell some of my other games and minis to pay for it.

Regarding bio-weapons, I don't remember any aliens with them, neither in films nor comics (unless you count the acid spit from Aliens Resurrection).

Been buy tonight building up some terrain. Mostly exterior, small storage buildings to large admin and Labs. Will post pics once all glued and under coated.
