ACW- 15mm Longstreet Union brigade update: 13/02/2014
« on: 27 January 2014, 08:02:57 PM »
Hello everyone. I finally have painted my first unit for my Longstreet brigade, the 14th Brooklyn. Minis are 15mm from Old Glory, with some conversions:

More pictures and the conversions on my blog:

Hope you enjoy.

Hi everyone. I proudly present you my second unit in brigade for our Longstreet campaign: the 27th New York. I intended to create a unit in the middle of a fight:

Minis are 15mm Old Glory. You'll find many more pics on my blog.

Beautiful work! The colours are a little washed out in the photography this time, but that hardly matters when you'll soon have a army of these unit.

Looking forward to more.

And here we go.
Continuing on the ACW path, I've finished a new unit, the 5th Artillery, Company D, at Bull Run, otherwise known as the "West Point battery". Minis are from Old Glory. What you have here is two Parrotts and one Napoleon.

You can find more pictures, and a bit of history about his captain on my blog. Very interesting bloke, this Cpt Griffin:

Because Longstreet represents the role of exceptional men during battles, I couldn't resist and did some hero markers, plus a base representing my own avatar. Minis are Old Glory 15mm.
