WIP of Khurasan Federal Navy Light Cruiser

Here's a WIP look at the second ship to be developed for the most popular range of spaceships we've released so far, the Federal Navy.

It's a light cruiser -- shown compared to the heavy cruiser currently available.  (A destroyer is being designed too.)



Thoughts?  I like how it's coming out so far.  It has only one of the ship-killing dorsal turrets, as its main armament will be the laser banks on the forward edge (which have not been added yet) and six launch casemates along the sides (which have been -- they are for the ship's missile and drone batteries).

Also note the light cruiser does not have launch bays for the Cormorant along the sides of the ship -- the heavy cruiser has a dozen, located under its 24 launch casemates.

Oh those look pretty cool, I did not realize that you make ships. I am going to have to check them out.
Will you be making Nova Respublik, JTFB, Meso-Nai,  Felid  and space Demons? Will there be other ships for the Fed Nav? Such as fighters? Troop Transports, for Fed marine space groups? Civilian cargo, merchant, and cruse liners?

Oh and yes I like the design so far.

All in all very cool looking ships.  Not in the market for them, but pretty slick designs.  If I ever did hop into a space ship game I'd give them a look for sure.  Are these a "scale" so to speak? (ie 1/10,000 or something?)

So, here they are, workhorses of the Federal Navy.  The heavy cruiser (currently available), light cruiser and destroyer (these last two should be early 2014).

out of interest, how do they scale with other spaceships on the market, or is that an unknown?

Heavy cruiser is 88mm long, light cruiser is 53mm, and destroyer is 37mm.
