Turkish Army
« on: 04 June 2008, 12:35:37 AM »
I'm thinking of building a Turkish army for a Back of Beyond Campaign starting in the Autumn.

I've looked at Copplestone but...no artillery or cavalry  :'(

I've looked at Brigade...but can't seem to get them in the UK (North Star don't list them at the moment)  :'(

I've looked at Gripping Beast / Woodbine...but the range is pretty small and I'm not sure it will expand enough in time  :'(

Any suggestions for which one to go for, ways to work with Copplestone or other sources of good 28mm figures would be greatly appreciated  :D

Many thanks

Hi Blogger,

If you have been looking at the heading "WW1 & WW2" you will see some subject headings there or contained within threads.

You can start your collection using all the known companies out there. Brigade Games, Gripping Beast (Woodbine Collection), Copplestone, Battle-Honours and Tin soldier.

You can raise a Turkish army including cavalry and artillery out of the above!

Best wishes,
