International "Husky" in 28mm
« on: 16 January 2014, 05:50:14 PM »
Found this little beauty on ebay! Don't know the exact scale, but it's approximately 4.5 inches long by 2 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide. My Hasslefree modern operators look pretty awesome next to it. I've already snatched up three. Two for my modern Brits, and one that will be re-tasked for my Zombie Hunters Task Force!  lol

great find, if the size they state is 5in long then it scales out to approx 1/58th scale, so ideal for larger 28mm figs.

Awsome find - wrong side of the Atlantic ... customs would make the purchase a pain in the butt. >:(
Still ... bookmarked it for future use in hopes of politicians making that trade agreement everybody talks about so much ...

Very cool find...I love when you stumble across stuff like this.  As others said...buy a dozen and keep them somewhere.  lol

Took a couple of comparison photos. Unfortunately, they are 3.17mb and 3.14mb, so are too big to post.  :'(  I don't know how to resize them.  >:(  Any suggestions?  :?

I have one of these - the local CVS had a bunch on their diecast rack a while back. It's slightly oversize next to my Eureka French, but nothing excessive. There are actually four or five versions in the range with different weapons in the rear; those are all cheapo soft plastic, but if you disassemble the chassis they can easily be removed.

I put Spinspur - Hasslefree - Empress - Reaper - RAFM minis next to it and it fits pretty well. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to post the photos. These vehicles are pretty massive. Here's another photo of an actual one that gives some idea how big they are.

Yeah, they definitely fall into the MRAP-ish "whoa that's a lot bigger than you'd think at first glance" category.
