I am using Flintloque 'Guiniean Legion' troops wit a KGL officer for my jagermonsters. I like the Guiniean Legion figures because of their 'French' covered shakos (I am also converting the figure in the forage cap to a shako). Their muskets are getting the greenstuff treatment too to 'modernise them' to look like repeating rifes.

I was fortunate enough to clear out Spirit Games of their surplus stock of the packs I wanted when they had them at clearance sale prices  :)

These figures have been lurking around the edge of my projects table for too long - I think its about time they jumped to the front of the painting queue ...

Awful figures.  Is no period safe from the Orc treatment?  WW2, Nappies and now Colonial, this is getting as bad as GW when everything went spikey.

The one problem with Flintloque is that the figures are BIG - orcs ar 30mm and ogres even bigger (but make great jager officers). GIve me until the end of the weekend and I should have hopefully completed my first orc/jager figures.

Thats great, I was actualy going to ask about how they were coming along.
AndI acutaly dont see that as a problem, I always imaged orcs as being bigger then humans any ways.

Ok, there are my first jagermonsters:

Figures are Alternative Armies Flintloque orcs. The only conversion I've done was to re-model their muskets into magazine rifles to fit in with my VSF Prussians. As I said before, these guys are big.

I like it. I'm reading my way through Girl Genius, and that comic combined with this thread might be the spark that sets my VSF boiler under pressure..... I'm pretty sure, I have the original Flintloque-box somewhere....  ;D
