You've inspired me to greater efforts!  I'll be in Moscow this week so I'll keep my eyes open for any treasures to bring back and share.

Michi, thank you for the very generous words.  They are much appreciated.  Too Bo Coo, thank you.  I can only hope that once in awhile I contribute something in return for all the inspiration I receive from LAF, and I'll keep my eyes open for your Moscow treasurers.  Richard

Really glad you both enjoyed it.  White Knight, I just thought it was crazy neat and wanted to paint it, but I'd love to hear how you would use one.  Thanks for writing.  Richard

I love it. But i cant think that looking at the residents that it shouldnt be an old shoe but a stiletto with a 6" heel.  :)

Grimm, thanks for writing.  I'm glad you like it.  I imagine the girls take their comfort where they find it.  Richard

Well, I'm torn between two possible uses.
I have some old lance & laser cartoony medieval antropomorphic ducks that this could go well with as an old giant's shoe turned into house. Not my figures, but they look like this: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_GBYpymyJpPM/Sw26AW2w8EI/AAAAAAAACHo/3Vrpoi7FmM8/s1600/duck.jpg

The second would be I have plans for a 28mm smurf village where this could serve as a house made from a human's shoe.

The ducks are great, and I like both ideas.  I really like the idea of a village made of castoff items.  Thanks for getting back to me on this.  Richard
