Great stuff, Rui, sandals look great! though some of the pics are again out of focus, which is a pity because the photos are too blurry now and we really would like to see more of the details of your conversions. Try it perhaps with taking pictures and being not too close with your camera at the models.

i take my picture very far from the figurines (nearly 1m50 to 2m) and use the numerical zoom to complete some very closer view !

Hello all

Many thanks for the coments and the tips.
Appart from the lack of quality on my small digital camera and my own lack of hability here are some better shots.
Also a fot iberian chieftain and a mounted one.
Any information on how i did, please ask and i will try to be precise on my explanations.

Cheers

Iberian chieftain on foot started as legs from a celt from Wargames factory and a body from a Warlord celt.
Rest is sculped. I have to finish that head.
The mounted iberian chieftain is a foundry one with a plastic arm from warlord and the rest is sculped.
Hope you find them usefull.

Cheers

Hello all

Yes Antti. For the gangs of rome the project its still in is middle i would say.
The iberians were just a try on these for i have a small army of celtiberians from companion and foundry and i didnt had any proper chieftain on foot so i decided to convert and sculp this one.
For the mounted leader, much the same.
I just placed them here to give some conversion ideas for everyone.

Cheers

I really like the mounted pict conversion. He would make a great messenger! It reminds me I must get going making a Roman litter to carry a noble lady...

I prefer this one:

& I found these examples fascinating:

I have NO idea if the Romans did anything similar.

But I intend to make some of these for their Pulp Potential!!

Hello all

Valerik, the ones with mules or donkeys can make sense if we think on a litter travelling considerable distances, so and although i´ve never seen any evidence on roman matters it might be possible.
The other one stays in our imagination. :D
