Yes, just regular glitter, a fine type (It's hard to say, but I think the flecks are squares maybe 0.2mm to 0.25mm on a side?).
Awesome bunch of fiugures, Fram, I love them all but I'm particularly very fond of the Indian version of Prof, bravo!:D
btw, is Prof Sockalingham a conversion?
Glad he turned out well! That was one of the very first Pulp figures I ever bought - he's so much fun!
The Prof is a hard plastic Cluedo figure (Professor Plum, I think), from I think the second or third edition of Cluedo, which comes with six such figures, of which I've painted three so far. The figures come up on ebay from time to time. The figures are all quite tall (35mm maybe a bit more), but I'm mixing in several different groups of larger figures (Dust tactics, Studio McVey, others), so they work as taller characters.
They're some of the nicest figures I've ever painted, in terms of how easy they are to paint. I wish I knew who the sculptor was!

The Aiyyars:
Amala Sockalingam - A girl from the Eureka Indian civilians set, converted to be wearing shoes and also very
carefully converted to smile (I did this very gradually by scraping a little of the lower face away, then slowly building layers back up with thick craft paint until I had a broad smile). I love Paul Hicks' sculpts to pieces (the drapery on the sari is magnificent), but his figures have a tendency look like they've just been told their entire family died.
Prof Sockalingam - As mentioned above, he's a Cluedo piece.
Princess Khan - The body is Statuesque's Minerva figure, and the head and hair are from a Reaper Dark Elf by Julie Guthrie.
Inspector Singham - Well, that's our prof, from LAF minis!
Colonel Malhotra - A Copplestone WWI British officer, with a headswap (and left hand) from a Copplestone Sikh soldier (I used the head from the prone gunner's assistant, since that's one figure I'd never use and he had quite a nice head). I also added the pistol holster.
Waheed Veedu - A Copplestone pulp hero, from the Armed Archaeologists pack.
The extras:
Eduardo Flores - Artizan thrilling tales figure
Red Queen - Another Statuesque miniature
Senhor Olivera - Hinterland figure, from their Pulp Characters pack (all of which are not-Tintin characters)
and the dog was just a find.

Praise from the sculptor! Well, those figures sure were worth the effort - those lines are just so nice! You certainly do know how to form
alluring curves.
I was worried how the eyes would turn out as the lines are a little fine, but I was quite happy with her eyes too.
Not sure when or where my second Minerva will turn up (head intact
), but eventually she'll make an appearance.

Haha, that's one of my favourite comments on the Indian league so far.
For the sparklies, well, I think you managed a very consistent, smooth application - that was what I was originally going for, but it turned out that not covering everything was a bit of a happy accident. Part of it may be that I still had some shading showing through. Also Andrew's sculpt is extremely good (it practically called out for sequins).

Nope! They haven't had an outing yet. Hopefully in a while, but I have to confront the gross lack of scenery we're under here. Got to get buildy buildy buildy.
I should be adding at least another couple of leagues in the near future though. We're short on unambiguous antagonists, so I've got cultists and nazis next in the pipe, though I'm waiting for some conversion parts for both leagues.
