*Place holder for superlatives.*

I'm going to start saving up for the release of the Fram Framson Figure Painting three-part DVD set.

Meanwhile I'm going to go boil my paint and burn my brushes in the fire. :P
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Fantastic paintjobs all round, and that glitter is something else!
I'm now going to throw away my painbrushes and cry ;)

That's alright, I don't want to run out of synonyms for "Thanks!" lol

Most of which would be me just making unfunny jokes while someone behind the camera yells "Get on with it!". Then I would try to pick up my brushes but miss, flail around with my fingers and knock all my brushes on the ground.

Fantastic paintjobs all round, and that glitter is something else!

I can't think of a WORSE result than making people quit painting! I'm just cursing a lot and, er, doing no-good cheaty tricks with layered glazes is all! I mean, I even use pens! That can't be kosher!

Ah! A hatted wargamer! We all know hats make for a better game! lol

I jest of course (about the quitting, not the amazingness of your work)!
At least our painting techniques have something in common- I curse a lot too!

i find that as my painting is improving, my cursing is getting equally better as well.

Ah yes, nothing seasons a painting session quite like cursing, not to mention the occasional cries of "Oh no no no No No NO!" lol

It's hard to be proud of my stuff, so I was happy that I felt that way about these. Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up on the figs Fram! I should have recognised them, I'm a big fan of Andrews sculpts!

Been working on some terrain things. It's slow and tedious, so today was a reward day where I did something fun instead. Been wanting to try to do a makeover on my cars and trucks, so I did one as a test.

Here's what it looked like before:

Basically, this is a quick hybrid job that lets me retain much of the original paint to save time and effort.

Mussed up the weathering pastels some by applying fixative too heavily, but it's still alright and I'm mostly fine with it. Lessons to learn for the next ones.

That looks great! Maybe a bit too shiny still, but the transformation of the cargo area is remarkable.

Yeah, I think the shininess is right on the edge, but it doesn't really bug me. Could do with a satin coat, but this was mostly an exercise in speed.
