15mm Russian WWWII Figures
« on: February 27, 2014, 09:31:32 AM »
Hello All,

I'm always on the lookout for new ideas for 15mm WWWII and the forces that really suffer are my Italians and Russians, I mostly end up painting German and American units in Italian or Russian colours. Although this suits, it's less than ideal. Does anyone know of any  manufacturers or distributors that have 15mm or another scale that will fudge for Inf, Arm, Art or even Cav that would work in a not-too-whacky setting?

So far I have used:

Dream Pod 9, Gear Krieg - Mechs and Inf
Clockwork Goblin - Mechs and Inf
Ground Zero Games, sci-fi - Spider Mechs
Forged in Battle - Armour, Art and Inf
Peter Pig, WWII - all
Armaments in Miniature, WWII - Gliders
East Riding Miniatures.WWII - Inf
Old Glory, WWII - all
QRF, WWII - all
Skytrex, WWII - all
Eureka Miniatures, WWII - SuperSoldat
Khurisan Minaitures, WWWII - Arm
Flames of War, WWII - all

I have come across Clockwork Goblin Russian Werebears/wolves ? in 15mm on forums but they dont seem to sell them, anyone know anything about getting hold of of the availability of these?

Terrain is easy for WWWII when using WWII but anyone come across or built anything different from the norm?

Any thoughts, ideas or ramblings ?

Cheers

Wolt

Proxie Models have some terrain and maybe vehicles you'd be interested in.

Blue Moon (stocked by Old Glory) I swear have bears and things in one of their ranges which could be useful to you.

Rebel Miniatures have spies, supervillains and superheroes.

Kremlin Miniatures have sci-fi/weird war Russian stuff you'll want a gander at too.

Don't think Clockwork ever released the Soviet Were's. The Rebel range, in the Fantasy section, has some nice large wolves/were's that could be used until the actual figures appear (along with Zombies of all nations).
