Let's plant a little easter egg in this thread! Still testing, so feedback is welcome/encouraged.
Great Race of Yith - 8BP
M Dex. Con. A W Res. Skills
4 5+ 6/7 2 2 3+ None
Weapons: Appendages (C.C.B. +2, Dam. D+0)
Special: Alien (treat as Humanoid for now), Hideous
Mind Transfer: As an Action, a Yithian may attempt to swap its consciousness into the body of another model within 10”. Both the Yithian and the targeted model roll a D6 and add their Resolve (the Yithian rolls at a +2 penalty against Daemons, their minds being difficult to contain, and may never attempt to occupy the mind of a Godling). If the Yithian’s total is lower, it may briefly transfer its mind into the body of the target, ransacking its neural pathways in order to learn any one Skill possessed by the target model. Once learned, the Yithian may utilize the new Skill provided it meets the necessary prerequisites.
In the event of a critical success on the Yithian’s part, it steals the Skill outright, wiping the ability from its target’s mind for the remainder of the game. However, should the Yithian roll a critical failure, the target model overwhelms the mental link and steals a Skill from the Yithian (if it has any).
Threshold models, when permitted to steal a Yithian Skill, only gain that Skill for the remainder of the game.
Neural Shock: Yithians may attempt to utilize their remarkable mental faculties to briefly stun lesser minds. As an Action, select a target model within 10”: the target must pass a Resolve test or suffer a D+1 hit that automatically renders the target Face Up. Models that have previously been the successful victim of a Yithian Mind Transfer suffer a +2 penalty to Resolve when taking this test.
