i think it works great as some Lovecraftian version of a Werewolf

The Modely are by Excalibur Miniatuers and were manufactured in 1999

i entered a speedpainting competition and i am well happy with what i did in under 30 minutes

Huge Deep One Hybrid / Dreamblade Skittering Smeech Repaint / Conversion

so i redesigned and repainted another Dreamblade mini called a Skittering smeech

i removed the tail , the head and addet some clothes ( basically to one-up my greenstuff skills) and a head

 

I got the idea to build this mini by watching Dagon and remembering that the Dreamblade figure has a cape made of human skin

i think this fits in well with the overall creepyness of lovecrafts works

Im currently painting 5 Deep one hybrids manufactured
and as i did not have my propper camera handy i took two rather shitty pictures with my phone to let you 8 and Mason exspecially) see how well they look
they are still in pip state so do not consider them finished....
but i must say they look AWSUM !!



Mason....Good work man..... im really happy with the way they look.....i xspecially love the guy with the bigger gun ( not pictured yet)..... blind nick was it ?
with his hunched over posture he shurely looks like the creatures described in Shadow over innsmouth

Also .. allthough they may be scullpted a bit rougher i would say it benefits the otherworldly look of the minis
