soooo i got my camera back......left it at my girls place.....so heres a picture of my newest finished stuff

some random goon and a Zombie

the Zombie is one of the old Heroquest zombies ( a model i wanted to paint FOR YEARS !)

and the goon is a Starwars miniature. it was lando Calrissian before i chopped off his head and replaced it with the head of a dreamblade miniature also i cut of the front of his blaster and addet a barrel to have him wield a gun

i mostly did the conversion because i bought the mini for under 1 € …i think 50 cents or so and wanted to see if the starwars mioniatures are high quality enough to do conversions

heres a “before” picture of the miniature

also i painted one of the old Deep Ones sculpted by John Dennett from the Grenadier ‘Creatures’ box set

but i think im gonna play it either as a hybrid or as a normal cultist that will get hideous for plus something points

so i found this on ebay for about 2€

and i thought to myself ” that could make a great addition to my lovecraftian Minis

So i cut off the thing on the top…..removed a LOT of mould lines and fixed it up with some greenstuff

then i painted it….

and IT FITS IN BRILLIANTLY ! The new paintjob brings out the overall slimy and creepy look great….and the tentacle feet things look like they would work much better underwater

Love 'em!
 :-* :-*

I particularly like the use of yellow.
Exactly what I was thinking with Blind Dick.

Wonder work!  Mason's minis look good on those bases of your too :)

Can ask how you achieve that lovely deep slimy red in the recesses of the Deep One?  It's such a great effect!

the only red i used is Citadel layer - evil sunz scarlet
i applyed about 1-3 very watered down washes to the areas.... the slimy effect comes from Army painter Quickshader without using anti shine varnish in the end

Agent Ashley James Williams

i painted this wonderfull miniature by hasslefree

as you can see its Ash from the Evil dead series….and i plan on using him as a Strange Aeons investigator….allthough i have to come up with some rules of my own as i think Chainsaws didint exist in 1920 :D

The Chainsaw appears in Shocking Tales #3 (Return to Dunwich), and has made its way onto the Master Weapons List for Second Edition.
