French Marines of the Guard GREEN/Gringo40s

Gents

a taster of Gringo40s Salute release a Marine of the Guard Officer 1815
part of a large selection of figures for this battalion..even though small
in strenght in 1815 the uniform remainded basically unchanged so can
be used for the whole period

good question actually they tended to favour full dress as it
was a french "thing" to be as well dressed as possible before
battle. i have some unseen eye witness accounts newly
unearthed by a good mate of mine on France that say the
Marines and Engineers were sporting full dress..in 1815
ie.plumes and
helmets.!! ive opted for that classic look........in brief yes!! ;)
