My wife's first attempt at painting...........
« on: March 25, 2014, 08:21:17 PM »
This is my amazing wife's first attempt at painting a miniature. I am obviously feeling very proud and slightly worried.............if her first one came out like that it won't be long before she's painting better than me!

She did great.  An excellent first showing.

Don't worry, I taught my wife to paint and she has won many more awards than I. But, she helps me finish armies.  So there is a benefit.
This is my boomstick!

Looks great! Once she's up to speed and painting your armies you can work on terrain.  :D

Get her some new brushes and show her the lead pile....she may feel the need to 'tidy it up and/or sort it out'... ;)

I believe the mummy is from Heroquest though not positive
The wife makes jewellery from Lego, board game pieces, cutlery etc and does very well at local craft fairs with it so I told her she could have the mummy to put on a necklace if she painted it. She loved it and has already searched through my bits boxes for other pieces she can paint and use  :)
