Plague Ogre
« on: 25 March 2014, 08:33:43 PM »
Hi guys,

Been working on this guy for a little while now and we got the first casting out of the mould over the weekend.

52mm to the top of his head and 60mm to the top of his staff.

We'll be launching a store shortly where he'll be available to buy should anyone be interested :)

Cheers

Adam

Great miniature, I want one.
Any plans for others? I think he needs some similarly diseased acolytes and followers to trail around behind him like some pestilent preacher. A putrid St Peter.

While I'm not 100% sold on the overall sculpt I love the idea.  I like seeing Ogres outside of their normal "bash and kill things!" mold (and yes, I just painted a bash and kill ogre...).  lol  Nice job.  My favourite aspect is the bandaged hand holding the staff.

The upper torso looks great, but it looks like it should be taking a step forward instead of the two feet so close together.
