I'm setting up for a skirmish game set in Moorcock's Young Kingdoms. The first batch of figures up are some Melnibonean guards. I used Reaper Vale Elves. The bases still need their grassyness but I tend to hold a lawn party once I've gotten everything painted.

Hopefully I can keep this rolling. Pan Tangians up next.

That is a clever way of using the Pointy Eared Ones...the attitudes as well as the minis match the Melniboneans. The paint jobs are TERRIFIC & I'm sure the bases will look fine when you get to them. WELL DONE!

Dale Men, for the rank and file. Still working on a Tiger Warrior.

Thanks for all the inspiring commentary everyone.

I know it's the sculpts and not you, but why are they all looking down like that?  ???

Werner Klock does that a lot.

True!

I really like the colour scheme you chose, by the way.

Some rank and file troops for the Pan Tangians. I'm working on a Wizard, Warrior Priest and Tiger warrior team as well.

I'm not fond of plastic figures for the most part. These Dale Warriors were attractive for this project simply because of their non historical look.

The Guard Captain is a minor Warrior Priest and will eventually have a small Fire Elemental companion.

Archers

Swords and spears.

and a little teaser of what's to come.

Great project, looks good! It's always nice to see some Moorcock. (Oh... Don't read that sentence out loud...)
Those Dale men look a lot better now they're no longer leashed to GW's paintscheme. Nice choice for Elric too.

Am I correct that the unpainted elf is to be Elric himself?
