Aaarrggghhh!  My early lead has eroded...and rightfully so.  The more I look at your scene the more I like it.

Cheers,

Blue

lol

You just can't do this in real time.
I was drawing with Hammers when I first looked very early on. I came back an hour later and I am getting roundly paffed!
I think your match with Uncle Mike may go all the way to the wire.
Exciting for the rest of us - painful for you :)

In some ways it's a relief to know you've been thumped from the outset :D

Both very well done! Blue, I think these guys suffer a bit because of the dark scheme makes it more difficult to see the details of the amazing job you've done on them. The gladiators, on the other hand, are lighter and easier to see the fine work done there, as well. This is a case where an individual zoom inset photo would have helped people appreciate the high quality paint jobs.

Good luck to both! They're both winners in my book...

Great entry Blue...I wouldn't worry too much about who wins...still plenty of time and we are quite close. Love your camo scheme, and the visors.

SiamTiger: most of this round are Gladiator Wars figures with a few Foundry one sprinkled on for good measure.

Also, thanks all for the nice comments.

Both are excellent. Nice crisp work on the gladiators and I really like that green dot pattern camo.

A great match-up.

Blue, I'm sure you're going to win this.  Honestly, what does Uncle Mike's entries really have?  I mean besides the great photo composition, well painted figures, smooth flesh tones, realistic metallics, varied, well-painted terrain, and overall high levels of quality and polish.

Wait, how does this encouragement thing work again?  I'm apparently unclear on the concept.

Honestly though, these are both some of my favorites this round.  Well done!

Well it's stayed terribly close through the whole week, but Uncle Mike has managed to keep his nose just far enough in front...
Great match. Well done to both :)
