Pulp Girl Goes Mecha WIP
« on: 11 April 2014, 08:31:22 AM »
Still a little to be done on the cyborg ;) ,then Pulp Girl herself and a fancy base;

 Some modifications to the mecha(it has a cockpit too, when I 've finished it will get a look in :)). Swopped the gun out as the kit gun had such an oversize bore that it would probably only get one shot...A common design error of GWs vehicles, have a look at a Leman Russ, bloody silly lol

That's pretty dang awesome!

I really like the fact you tried (and succeeded) to make the knight look 'realistic' instead of covered in heraldry and skulls.

It now looks like a cross between MaK and 40K, with maybe a bit of anime thrown in for good measure, and it works too! 8)

Very cool indeed...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

What a fine choice of colurs, the beast looks spot on! Absolutely great work on it - I second that it is not a bad idea to replace the usual bronze and polished steel and bright heraldic colours with a proper field modification to adapt the users needs. Very well done Guy!

Bloody brilliant, mate.
 :-* :-* :-*

I have been waiting for this with some eagerness, I can tell ya....and you do not disappoint.
A 'proper' paintjob on a GW kit really does make such a difference and swapping out the gun makes it look so much more believable instead of like something that Mattel would release.

Well done, Guy.
An inspired and excellent bit of model-making, sir.
 :D

Looking forward to Stage II.....

Holy cow, this is an AWESOME model and paintjob. Perfect for the job and I like the brown look. Reminds me of the big robot from the Judge Dredd movie. Top job man, really superb.

That's a very different look from the usual. Damn fine work there- makes me reconsider getting one of those overpriced bastards :)
