I've only seen the Bruegelburger mini's in blisters at shows, I remember them being quite large. just how tall are they compared with the 20mm bases if you don't mind me asking?

The bald one is 31.5mm from sole to head top. Add the slotta/putty/sand and thickness of coin he stands 36.5mm from the table top.
