While they are Portuguese weapons, these guys are apparently 'turned FLNA fighters'... and that's the long and the short of it. *Ba-dum tsh*  ;)

Is that a Mills bomb in that guy's pocket or is he very pleased to see you?

He does look quite pleased with something...

I also did some of the Britannia ones, to go with but they do look very different.

Cheers Juergen.

@ Nick: These are very well sculpted minis, the faces in particular have bags of character, you know you want some...

Superb job as usual,do you get a chance to game much? The problem in our group is I am only painting bushwars, although I was just given 70 painted 20mm Islamists, sothat helps. But I do have a full drawer of 28mm..sigh..Really like the gun emplacement.

Got a 28mm modern german from Under Fire; going to try to convert him to a Portuguese soldier  to go with my Eureka figures:

It's not much of a conversion really, I just took off the Bundeswehr belt kit and covered the damage with a couple of water-bottles and some pouches. This mini is a tad bigger than the Eureka Portuguese figures but it makes sense to give the big guy the big gun...
