Thanks for the replies, much appreciated, got a question for anyone in the know,
 Standard bearers for both sides, would the standard be of general European style or more along the lines of earlier Japanese ones? any examples would be great

Inspired by Jimbibblys post I thought i would dig out the old samurai, korean collection. Its also that yearly feeling of "must get back to my samurai stuff. So an order off to the perrys today and look at what ive got. Didnt realise i had painted so much korean cav. Never again , havent got the patience these days. Well heres a pic of them
