The bowler on one of the new guys is suggestive of Junior Angel.  Not a bad thing in itself, thats for sure :)

An old friend popped round and we grabbed enough time to play a fast and loose Rogue trader game

A great time was had and far too many ones were rolled! AAR is on the blog if that kind of things floats your boat

Thought I'd resurrect this thread to post up recent bits and pieces.
First of all, you may have seen a couple of my scavvies in the 100 club but I've done another couple since. The one thats most worth posting is this guy.

He is one of the original Confrontation figures from donkeys back. They came with plastic arms but I've always hated them so i thought i'd attempt to sculpt some better ones.
I started off with a gun that already had some hands sculpted on, which saves me some hassle, and made soem armatures from wire.

A couple of sessions of greenstuffing later and he had some raggedy arms to match his raggedy clothes, along with his three mates

And here he is with his scavvy mates

In addition to this, Antipixi came round last night and we had a game of RT. The full report can be found http://theleadpile.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/christmas-is-saved-rogue-trader-battle.html
but here are some pics to whet your appetite

That's about as perfect as it gets.  :D

Love the work on the scavvies too. They really look the part. Are you going to give Confrontation a try?

Will do in the future but we have already had a game at BOYL during the summer, we simplified it a little but in future we'll be trying to play it as close to the original game as we can. It works pretty well.

Brilliant. I'm kit bashing a clan gang (inbetween everything else) with the intent of getting a few games of confrontation. I was a big fan in the day, its demise even prompting me to write my only 'but why?' letter to GW.  lol

These guys look great!  While I like plastic, I really enjoy painting metal figures... there is something about how they're sculpted that I just like better...  BWT, where is your terrain from?
