These really are wonderful buildings.

Have you considered adding some texture to the larger flat areas?
I think that would add to the overall effect and allow you to create a great finish with a little drybrushing.

Thought about it, but I decided against doing it

We love, of course, but you might look into some texture paint for the future. You can color it to your ideal, and it's not a lot more work, though a bit more technique.

Nothing I'D try, mind you. 

The 'awesome' keeps coming on...

Personally I dont think it needs texturing.
Perhaps a few patches where the underlying brick work is showing through cracks but nothing major...
