Hooded Cultists
« on: 30 April 2014, 10:31:37 AM »
Hi

Can anyone point me to any Hooded Cultists apart from these guys ?

http://pulpfigures.com/products/view/48
and
http://pulpfigures.com/products/view/60

I like the figures, but coming from the US a combination of air mail, VAT and  Post Office surcharge make them unaffordable  :-[

Any suggestions for some based in the UK ?

TIA

Pete

Just sent you a PM.

I can highly recommend Mason's Minions.  Or are they Myrmidons?

While I have perverted them to Pulp, they remain nefarious.  And, ...familial...

You can also try this old link, thanks Dolmot, which still seems to work, HERE:

Oh, and the Pulp Figures themselves are available in the EU (so no customs duties or Post Office collection fees when sent to the UK) from Miniaturicum:

Well guessed that man!
I did indeed inform vsfguthroth that I had a set of my Cultists left from the first run of castings.

He seems to approve and decided to take me up on the offer.
 :D

Thanks for the recommendation, Valerik.
I am glad that you like them.

Here are a couple of sets painted up by einarolafsson, who can paint a darn sight better than I can.

Just in case anyone else wants any, as I will be doing a second run of that mould soon, along with all the stuff that I have been working on since.

See here for details of that stuff:

Send me a PM if you are interested in anything.

These guys are pretty nice.  Not totally hooded but easily could be.  Weapins change would be easy too!

No worries, Pete, I have just contacted the next fella on the 'list' and given him the option.

My first Cult, The Order of the Purple-headed Worm, consists of quite a few different manufacturers.
Uncle Mikes Worldwide, Artizan Designs and Pulp Figures are all in there, along with a Westwind Maniac and a sacrifice in the form of a Foundry Maid Marian (without legs!).

This provides a very stereotypical 'Hooded' cult, whereas my own figures are intentionally more multi-use, and are suitable for other options like Old West bandits or lynch mob, VBCW (or VSF) civilians, Post Apoc gangers and, of course, as cultists.

Black Cat Bases...

http://blackcatbases.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=437_467&sort=20a&page=1

The old WOTC D&D miniatures pre-paints had a few...

Cultist of the Dragon
Blood of Vol Cultist
Blood of Vol Fanatic
Snaketounge Cultist

I have 3 that came from a set that I can't find online now...may be closer to 25mm, but one has a torch and two have knives. One of the two knife wielders is throwing back his head manically. They were likely BTD or a very small British company.
