Repurposing, eh.
What a sensible idea.
 :D

And that set-up does look better.

Nice station.
I can steal copy the idea for my OW or roman periods. :D

Well done.

Please do be inspired: plenty on here inspire me  :D

Actually it's changed a bit.

I was clearing out some more boxes and found some strips of resin rocks.  Ooooh methinks, a wall with a rock base and post upper parts, a bit like a dry stone wall with a deer fence above or perhaps like this

So, I've ended up with the following arrangement.  The poles aren't yet fixed, nor are the buildings.

More support poles need to be added  ;)

Good idea, it makes the compound look more defendable with the higher wall/fence :)

Inspired use of materials, what are those buildings made from again?

Also, I trust that we will see plenty of photos of the finished product once you get the first games in?

Does the station have a well? Are do they have yo leave the compound to get water? Also might need a some thing to signal for help. Maybe some kind of fire tower or flags.  ::)

There's a little bit of a tutorial on a similar cabin at this link....
http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=16100.60
Basically, they're made from twigs with kitchen paper for the tarp and greenstuff here and there.

Oh, and in a minute the way station will have a well...thanks very much. The idea of a flickering LED signal brazier is a good one and I'll give it some thought.

Oh (again) I have a couple of Perry priests whose cassocks can be turned into long cloaks, wrapped against the chill.

More pics soon

 ;) :)
