Has anyone imbedded a LED into the base of a translucent figure. Seen pictures of light from below, would like to paint base of lesser fire elemental dark and have the light closer to feet of figure. Does the LED burn with enough heat to melt the plastic? Never even tried anything like this before so any advice would be appreciated.

I've done a bunch of it with the fire-wall parts, and you'll be fine - it looks great and doesn't get too hot.
