The Cobalt Provenders now with pics 13/06/2014

As indicated elsewhere, my concept for a gaming surface made up of different types of scenery isolated from each other by walls is very gradually taking shape; and one of the types of games I can see this used for would be superhero teams.
Since many sci fi (and other) models can be adapted as superheroes, I think I can have a field day here  of the more literal Avengers Assemble sort, featuring superglue. As is typical for me I am not conforming to any existing force, and am starting my own team - the Cobalt Provenders.
So far I found 8 already painted models who can fit in - together with a nasty supervillian, and a few demonic types who can be his minions.
Which means I have to take pics in the weekend....

Small spoiler - one of these will be Froot, who is not-quite-Groot.....
Only one other hero has a name so far - Barndoor.

  Yes... which I now realise is probably an even worse indictment than ignorance of the term!  ;

A slogan for the team:
Fattening up justice one day at a time.

And a battle cry:
'It's feeding time!'

Unfortunately Orangepeel isn't good at remembering the 'l' at the end of his name either, and that is a tad embarassing....

As you can see they were never meant to be a team - widely different brands and basing! But there's many a superhero team which began with incompatible characters, so nothing new there.

These are old paintjobs, with the exception of Mr. O'Peel, more to come at a very slow pace. And with unifying bases from now on.

Hmmmm..... I need a backdrop theatre for this.
Oh - and a villain too. Not a team of villains, methinks. One nasty sort, with a henchman or two and an army.
