Studio Miniatures Sikh Cav.
« on: June 30, 2014, 04:29:52 PM »
I went to their web site and took a look at their Sikh War Cav.
Is it me or the photos, but it looks like the figures don't sit in the saddle right.
In the photos there is a gap between horse and rider.
If I am correct the horses are by ebob.
 Who did the riders?
Sorry if this as been noted before in another thread.

The horses are Ebob indeed, and the riders were sculpted by Steve May. I too noticed that the riders don't seem to fit their mounts too well on the pics. I don't have the actual figures, so can't comment on whether or not this is just because the pictures were set up in a hurry. I do however own the freebie figures offered with the Kickstarter order from last year, and the British light dragoon officer required a bit of work to sit on his horse properly.

Thanks Arthur for the reply.
It looks to me that the dollies used needed to have their legs bowed out more.
Will probably stay away from them.

Hi Guys

Hope these pics are better. Painted versions will be going up as soon as Stonecoldlead aka Simon Bradley gets them done  ;) Soapy did my NMF range and has just finished another eight Afghans, due for release next month.
