Thanks for all the feedback, good to see others like the range, I don't see many dwarfs around here. Next up, some of the armoured warriors, got a big game coming up mid-October, would be nice to have them finished by then, but it's a tall order.

Nice work - as mentioned above, those muted colours are nicely set off by the 'tartan'. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the Dwarf Warriors as they are not my favourite scuplts, and the ones I have at home are languishing in their box due to lack of inspiration.

Beautiful dwarfs. I agree, the blue off-sets the muted colours particularly well. Whenever I try to combine colours the end result is...nothing short of miserable.

I haven't ever seen those figures before, but they look pretty decent. LOTR plastics I take it? Very nicely done.

A few changes to the original plan (as ever

) means I have swapped to uruk hai. Got a big game of WOTR planned and just painting things up rapidly among a small group of us. I went with uruk hai, lots of points for little time. These are speed painted, a bit dull if I am honest, but it matters less with these models.

The last group would make a useful Saga unit of berserkers and command figure, which is nice.

Finally got some warg riders painted up, thanks to the pressure of the Lead Painting League. Got some Rohan reinforcements on the way soon.

I painted these as part of LPL, figure it's safe to add them now. That brings my Rohan force up to 24 infantry and 8 horses. I need more cavalry!

I just need to finish another couple of skeleton units for my God of Battles Lords of Undeath, then I shall also turn my attention to some Riders of Rohan to use for both SAGA (Norman proxies) and God of Battles!
