That guy is great both the figure and the orange under the blue.

Fantastic stuff!

Looks like he just just blew up the second moon with his remote, and is watching it explode! Beware when he puts his finger near that button next time ;)

Cheers
Matt.

My newest paint job was out of necessity - my poor two headed mutie Gron-Slom got eaten in last week's Inquisimunda game. I wanted to replace him with something more effective, so pulled out an old Citadel Rogue Trooper figure and made an Afriel strain trooper:

He's largely unmodified apart from the addition of baggier trousers, a sighting device on his helmet, and the aerial on his backpack. Eschewing the traditional blue skin for Rogue, Trooper Alpha-6 got a pale skin tone to represent his albinism.

Thanks guys! He singularly failed to achieve anything in his first game last night. But at least he didn't die!

After a little break, I painted up this pair of Four A Miniatures crewmen/engineers to help populate my RT settings.

They've got classic orange overalls, happily also inverting the colour scheme from the Spacelords figure a few weeks back

They're pretty basic, quick paint jobs, but they fulfil the brief for background NPCs I think.

Worth remembering when I need some more mechanic types.

Thanks both :)

I think you can always find a use for mechanics. I've got several others I must get round to painting.

Glad you like the green too Constable Bertrand. I've used it a lot on terrain - it seems to be just the right colour for sci-fi industrial stuff. It also happens to be the same colour as my local sports hall ;)

I've just put the finishing touches to a test subject for a genestealer coven - a ratling hybrid.

He started life as this Citadel pre-slotta Halfling Oni:

And here's what he looked like after all the conversion work:

Hope you like him! More words and pictures over at my blog.
