@Jaganneth - because I'm pretty sad about these things, I can tell you exactly!  Since early 2014, when I started painting up a loose collection of RT era themed models, I've painted 168 in total (excluding terrain). I'll be honest and say it's been the most enjoyable project (if you can call a loose collection of figures a project) I've done since I started gaming :)

Group shot!
 :D

(Sorry, mate, but someone had to say it....).

One of my favourite projects ever. Top.

Mine too.

It was him that made me start mine.*
Although my productivity is never going to reach that level.

*He is a bad man, I tell ya!

A group shot you say?

I'll try and assemble them all after I get back from my holidays :D

After a break to go on holiday, I picked up the brushes again last night with something relatively easy.

I've expanded the number of tools available to my Squat Engineer with the addition of 9 new surveying drones for use as plot points and objectives. The drone models are from Gydran Miniatures (check out their new Kickstarter BTW)

Very nicely done.
They fit in just fine and the colour scheme really brings the group together perfectly.

The latest addition to my Logan's World gang is a requisite transport option! I think this is a Future Wars buggy of some sort. I added the rollcage, rear platform and gun.

I employed pretty much all the weathering techniques I know to beat it up suitably ;)

I've really enjoyed browsing through your various work.

Very well done.

Thanks very much both!

I've been enjoying the weathering since I realised it was simple, quick and easy with just a bit of blister pack foam!

In fact, I did some more on some crates last night:

Mason, a bit of research over at Stuff of Legends reveals that the buggy is a Lightening Strike Buggy from the Grenadier Future Wars range. Looks like mine was missing the original rollcage and front guard:

Mirliton have the licence for the range currently, but they don't appear to have the buggy in production.

Cheers, mate.
That picture certainly helps as it does not look like it would be too difficult to replicate something in a similar fashion using toy cars etc.

Much appreciated.

@Scurv - the buggy is certainly of its time ;) Those Warzone buggies are still available from Scotia Grendel BTW :)

It's been quite a busy week, hobby-wise!

I painted some more crates (the larger white and the big orange one):

GM'd a game of Inquisimunda for these three excellent factions:

(read a full game report here).

Finally, I bought some nice painted figures on ebay, and did some quick touch-ups and rebasing to fit them in with the rest of my figures:

You can read about these mean-looking fighters at my blog too!

What a wonderful array of figures and scenery in that game.
Top drawer.
And EVERYONE needs a Jokaero.
 :-* 8) :D

Sounds like you had a great laugh and playing ariound with the lights and sound on that vehicle.... bet you couldn't resist?*
 ;)

Nice ebay find too.
They do mix in well with your existing stuff pretty well.

*I have a train with working sounds just waiting to be tarted up for gaming.
Am I looking forward to that?
Oh, yes!

A toy train requiring tarting? Sounds great :)

There's something about playing with actual toys that really appeals!
