Thanks folks. This was a pretty simple construction really - about 2 hours to build and an hour to paint. Well worth creating your own I think!

Something different for a change - Citadel's classic Johnny Alpha, Wulf and the Gronk from the 2000AD strips. It was a refreshing change to paint something bright and comic strip coloured!

Beautiful! Wulf's face is wonderful - full of character. Ditto for the Gronk - he looks so worried!

I think this will be my final figure of 2018 - a custom created Strontium Dog to hang around with Johnny et al!

He's a conversion from a pre-slotta Golden Heroes supervillain, with a new head and added pads:

Hopefully he fits the bill!

I recently completed a project that was started over the summer - a translation of an illustration into a miniature. The illustration in question was by Tony Ackland for GW's short-lived game Confrontation (before it became Necromunda):

And the resulting beastie (which I'm calling a Necromundan Shadow Hound)

I converted the hound from an old Citadel Blink Dog, with the addition of a lizard head and lots of greenstuff:

Agree - painting (and photographing!) glossy black ain't easy.

Ahead of a bounty hunting game I ran at Bring Out Your Lead event in August, I painted up a quartet of Confrontation Venators for people to use if they wished.

Two are unmodified Marauder figures, one is a conversion from a Necromunda Redemptionist, and the little guy is of course an old Citadel chaos familiar.
