Just for fun, here's a pair of Rogue Trader Techpriests. I can't work out which I prefer - the mad scientist looking guy in the lab coat, or the tech-as-religion oddjob in the red robe. Both are fun I guess!

Technically this classic Citadel basilisk is a fantasy creature, not an alien beastie. But I reckon it's weird enough to be at home in a scifi setting!

It most certainly is! It's a good boy - doesn't pee on the rug and only very rarely bites limbs off!!

Lovely job - I love to see beasties in sci-fi. It's funny you mention on the blog your preferred Rogue Trader setting because I always get the impression your version of Rogue Trader setting and my ongoing sci-fi project are very similar worlds. Pretty sure I knick half my ideas from you anyway!

I spend my life stealing other folks ideas to fit into my setting - it's part of the fun! I like the fact that the vibe can spread across different scales too - it doesn't matter if its 28mm or 15mm!

When I painted up the first 5 of my black and orange commandos a month or so ago, I didn't anticipate that they'd be the start of something bigger. But I've painted another half-dozen miniatures in the same theme, so I reckon I must like doing them!

This time it's a Rogue Trader to lead them. Not the frock-coat wearing or exotic gothic type, but an old school space barbarian type!
