Yeah me too - that's why I always come back to a quasi-Rogue Trader setting, I love the ability to use fantasy models with a tweak here and there.

Today's new output is a bit of a cheat. I bought 16 pre-painted resin crates on ebay. I glued some together, made a crude stencil, and liberally dabbed at them with some blister foam. But I like the results!

Newest off the painting line is a figure which has been WIP for around 6 years I think. He was originally intended as a standard 40k psyker with some arms from a Foundry historical figure, but then I repurposed him as an honorary Colonel for Dracula's America in Space. You get the idea anyway!

A little bit of a diversion because a very generous guy over at the Oldhammer Community Facebook group was giving away Epic minis for people to paint up in lockdown. I was gifted an Epic Knight Castellan, and painted up a Knight Warden alongside it:



These are hopefully scale-agnostic enough to be used in Epic and as 28mm robots. That's the plan anyway!

I was thinking of adding them to my own Bot horde in 28mm as well.
What size bases are you using on them?
